Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) recently contracted DeWolff Partnership Architects to design a revamped Puritas rail station.

The $5 million project includes a new platform and canopy, which are under construction and scheduled to be complete in spring. The station also will include a new headhouse, signage and parking lot, and be designed to meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.

Built in 1966, Puritas Station is one of RTA’s five busiest rail stations, according to a prepared statement.
