The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recently named Robert Jamison deputy administrator. He will assume the post in several weeks.

Most recently deputy administrator of the Federal Transit Administration, Jamison previously served as acting administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration and senior operations officer for the American Red Cross. He also spent 12 years at United Parcel Service in various management positions.

“Robert’s experience in process management across different transportation environments will be invaluable to TSA,” said Kip Hawley, TSA assistant secretary, in a prepared statement.
