Greater Cleveland RTA's rail ridership spikes in 2007

For the fifth-straight year, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) has recorded a ridership increase.

The agency carried 57.3 million riders on its bus rail and system in 2007, up slightly from 2006’s 57.2 million. However, rail ridership increased nearly 9 percent. Heavy-rail ridership was up 8 percent and light-rail ridership, 10 percent.
