The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) recently launched an online questionnaire to obtain feedback on transportation issues from local residents.

Accessible at www.helpsouthfloridatransit.com, the questionnaire polls frequent, infrequent and non-users of public transportation on ways to attract new passengers and improve the rider experience. The survey also asks residents for input on mechanisms that could generate sufficient funding to support and expand the region's public transportation system. SFRTA currently is seeking a dedicated source of state funding.

The questionnaire is part of a larger effort to reach out to current riders, local companies and their employees, and the public at large through onboard surveys, telephone polling and transportation forums, SFRTA said.
