advertisement

Last week, the United Transportation Union (UTU) named Richard Deiser, William Lain Jr., Delbert Strunk and Paul Tibbit international vice presidents. They succeed John Babler, Victor Baffoni, James Cumby and Constantino Iannone, who recently were removed from office after the union’s board found them guilty of violating UTU policy and usurping the authority of the union’s president in regards to a proposed merger with the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association.

Most recently, Deiser was alternate VP-East of the UTU Bus Department; Lain was second alternate UTU VP-East; Strunk was first alternate UTU VP-East; and Tibbit was alternate VP-West.
