CN, rail traffic controllers reach new agreement

Yesterday, CN announced it reached a new three-year labor agreement with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference/Rail Canada Traffic Controllers, which represents about 200 rail traffic controllers in Canada.

Retroactive to Jan. 1, 2009, the contracts includes wage increases of 1.8 percent in 2009, 2.4 percent in 2010 and 2.6 percent for 2011, as well as dental plan benefit improvements that will take effect on June 1.
