Watco assigns Rudd, Goins and Jeschke to new posts

Watco Cos. Inc. recently named Don Rudd director of locomotives switching and leasing for the Gulf Region.
Most recently the region’s director of locomotives, he has 20 years of rail industry experience, beginning with the Grand Trunk Western Railroad in 1988. Since joining Watco in 2002, Rudd has served as superintendent of the Baytown Shop, chief mechanical officer for the Timber Rock Railroad and electrical superintendent for the corporate locomotive support team.
Watco also named Paul Goins director of locomotives for the Gulf Region to succeed Rudd. Goins most recently was chief mechanical officer for the San Joaquin Valley Railroad (SJVR). He previously served SJVR as a mechanic, and the Lahaina Kaanapali and Pacific Railroad as superintendent.
In addition, Watco named Kyle Jeschke general manager of the Mission Mountain Railroad. He most recently assumed engineering duties for the railroad. Jeschke previously served Watco, which he joined in 2006, as a conductor.
