For the full year, SPRB loadings totaled 12,254 trains, exceeding 2010 loadings by 4.5 percent.

In the Colorado/Utah region, UP loaded 213 coal trains in December, down slightly from December 2010’s 220 trains. The railroad met 106.5 percent of NCTA demand, UP officials said.

For the year, loadings totaled 2,666 trains, up 1.7 percent compared with 2010 loadings.
