CSX Corp.'s TRANSFLO(sm) Corp. June 5 received DuPont Corp.'s Responsible Shipper Award, which recognizes terminal-personnel efforts that ensure all shipped DuPont materials comply with transportation regulations, as well as the chemical company's safety policies and practices.
DuPont cited three TRANSFLO terminals that met award criteria: Cincinnati, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Charlotte, N.C.
TRANSFLO, which in 21 states provides logistics across all transportation modes, focuses on terminal safety as a team effort to ensure a better environment for customers and employees, said TRANSFLO Managing Director Kyle Hancock in a prepared statement.
