BNSF grants UP trackage rights on three lines

advertisement

Burlington Northern Santa Fe recently agreed to grant overhead trackage rights to Union Pacific Railroad on two lines between Dalhart and Texline, Texas, and Texline and Trinidad, Colo. (totaling 170.9 miles), and a 12.4-mile line between Bragdon and Pueblo, Colo.

The trackage rights will enable BNSF and UP to implement directional running on lines between Pueblo and Amarillo, Texas.

BNSF recently filed trackage-right exemptions with Surface Transportation Board, which has approved the transactions.
