Canadian rail association releases annual 'trends' report

The Railway Association of Canada (RAC) has released the 21st edition of its annual "Rail Trends" report.

Rail Trends includes performance data covering Canada's freight- and passenger-rail sectors. The report contains a rolling 10-year review of financial and statistical data, reflecting multiple aspects of rail performance.
 
"The performance data in 2013 Rail Trends demonstrates that rail is reliable, sustainable, and most importantly, safe," RAC officials said in an announcement.
