BillingZone LLC Nov. 15 agreed to provide Arzoon Inc. its business-to-business electronic invoice presentment and payment service, BillingZone™, which Arzoon plans to use as part of its freight payment solution at www.arzoon.com.

Users of Arzoon's recently introduced LIFE 4.0 software then would be able to better manage logistics expenses, reducing costs by as much as 2 percent due to fewer disputed invoices and improved expense forecasting, according to a prepared statement.

A Web-based transportation supply-chain software provider, Arzoon in October launched LIFE 4.0 partly to offer railroads online rating, tendering, bill-of-lading execution, shipment tracking, enhanced reporting and event-management functions.

In conjunction with BillingZone, Arzoon — which in May 2000 received joint investment from Union Pacific Corp., Norfolk Southern Corp., CSX Corp. and Canadian Pacific Railway — plans to enable LIFE 4.0 users to produce invoices faster and more economically, reduce days sales outstanding by more-quickly resolving billing disputes, and improve cash management for both carriers and shippers.
