Iowa Interstate's Roy plans late-June retirement

Iowa Interstate Railroad Ltd. President and Chief Executive Officer Jon Roy recently announced plans to retire June 26.
Prior to joining the 552-mile regional in 2000, Roy served as president and CEO of Eastern Illinois Railroad Co. He previously served in various capacities for Archer Daniels Midland Co., Westinghouse Corp. and Penn Central Railroad.
Roy also is registered to act as a practitioner before Surface Transportation Board and Federal Maritime Commission.
Iowa Interstate Railroad, which operates between Omaha, Neb. and Chicago/Peoria, Ill., hasn't announced Roy's successor.
