University of Wisconsin to conduct 4th annual conference on railroad engineering, construction

In late October, the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering, Department of Engineering Professional Development will hold Railroad Engineering 2004®, the university's 4th annual national conference and short course on railroad engineering and construction.

To be held Oct. 18-21, the event offers networking opportunities and training sessions on planning, designing, rehabilitating and building railroad facilities designed for railroad managers, engineering consultants, track supervisors, transportation engineers, inspectors and technicians, and state and federal officials. The program also features technical presentations on freight, intercity passenger and urban light-rail systems.
