Cargo security council elects officers & board members

The International Cargo Security Council (ICSC) recently elected a slate of officers and board members.
The new officers are: Scott H. Smith, Alpha Cargo Technology, who was re-elected chairman; Robert Soderberg, Visteon Corp., vice Chairman; Pat Fenton, Forward Air, secretary; Scott Dedic, Seagate Technology, treasurer; and David Jones, Tommy Hilfiger-USA, past chairman.
In addition, Tommy Fields; C. Randal Mullett, CNF; John Tabor, National Retail Systems Inc.; John D. Detlefsen, Transport Security; and William A. McLeod, DHS Immigration & Customs Enforcement were elected to the board.
ICSC officers serve one-year terms; board members, three-year terms.
The council comprises 1,200 cargo transportation and security professionals from the air, truck, rail maritime and intermodal cargo-security spheres.
