Yesterday, Electro-Motive Diesel Inc. (EMD) announced it appointed Albert Enste vice president of international sales and service.
Enste — who will be based in Zurich, Switzerland — most recently served as senior sales director of locomotives for Bombardier Transportation.
Founded in 1922, EMD builds diesel-electric locomotives at plants in London, Ontario, and LaGrange, Ill. Last year, Greenbriar Equity Group L.L.C., Berkshire Partners L.L.C. and other parties acquired the locomotive builder from General Motors Corp.
