Intermodal Transportation Institute elects board members, names honorary degree recipient

At its spring board of directors meeting held April 26-27 in Washington, D.C., the University of Denver’s Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI) elected new board members Michael McClellan and Martin Graham.

McClellan is vice president of intermodal and automotive marketing for Norfolk Southern Corp.; Graham is president of Trinity Industries Inc.’s Trinity Rail North America Freight.

Also during the meeting, ITI Chairman Tom Finkbiner announced the insitute will award Hub Group Inc. founder and Chairman Phillip Yeager an honorary Doctor of Public Service degree at the university’s June 9 commencement ceremony. The degree recognizes Yeager’s contributions to the creation and growth of the intermodal transportation industry.
