Interface Journal and Advanced Rail Management Corp. will host Wheel/Rail Interaction ’07, an annual seminar that examines wheel/rail and vehicle/track interaction on freight-rail and shared-track passenger systems. The 13th annual event will be held May 8-9, 2007, at the Chicago Marriott O’Hare.

As in previous years, the goal of the 2007 event is to bring together track and mechanical users, suppliers and researchers in an attempt to foster a better understanding of the critical interaction that takes place at the wheel/rail interface.

There’s also a pre-seminar course -- “Principles of Wheel/Rail Interaction,” which will be conducted on May 7.
