advertisement

Association of American Railroads (AAR) and Asociación Internacional Ferroviaria (AIF) plan to join forces in Mexico, co-sponsoring a single January 2002 conference and exposition in Monterrey.
The conference would replace AAR's Mexico Mechanical Seminar held in Mexico City and AIF's RailtecMexico Expo typically held Januarys in Monterrey.
AAR and AIF also plan to hold an annual alliance conference in Mexico beyond 2002, focusing on a common goal of serving the railroad industry by offering more efficient, effective instructional and informational programs.
As details of the joint program become available, AAR and AIF plan to publish the information in advance of the 2002 AAR/AIF Seminar & Expo.
