In June, the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council and Association of American Railroads (AAR) will lead a U.S. Commercial Railroad and Infrastructure Million to the United Arab Emirates.
The trade mission will enable U.S. companies in the railway technology, services, operator and infrastructure supply sectors to develop a railroad and trade relationship between the U.S. and U.A.E., AAR officials said in a prepared statement.
The mission also will give American businesses the opportunity to compete for contracts for the 932-mile Union Railway that is in the early stages of development in U.A.E., AAR officials said.
The mission will include an industry briefing hosted by Union Railway executives and site visits to inland and naval port facilities.
