Stockholm, Sweden, public transit agency SL recently inaugurated its new CORADIA LIREX commuter train.
Supplied by ALSTOM, the low-floor trains are designed to increase reliability, lower energy consumption and improve working conditions, according to a prepared statement.
ALSTOM delivered the first four of 55 vehicles, which will enter service Aug. 22.
