Rail News: Rail Industry Trends
American Public Transportation Association (APTA) members now can personalize the information they want to access on the association’s Web site at www.apta.com.
Using a “MyAPTA” feature, members can quickly access an electronic news service, procurement pages and other site areas, and register for meetings. APTA committee members can use the feature to email several fellow members at the same time.
Non-members also can also use MyAPTA to register for association events, but otherwise will have limited access. To become a MyAPTA user, members and non-members must register on the Web site.
“Members can manage much of their own membership data, access real-time information on the online membership directory, and view current registration lists for conferences and other events,” said APTA Vice President of Member Services Anthony Kouneski in a prepared statement.
