APTA nears $100,000 in hurricane relief donations

The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) is $3,500 away from meeting its fund-raising goal for transit employees and their families affected by Hurricane Katrina.
In early September, APTA established the APTA Hurricane Katrina Transit Employee Relief Fund and announced it would match all donations up to $100,000. Donations can be made online at www.apta.com.
