Adrian & Blissfield names Jones GM

The Adrian & Blissfield Railroad Co. recently appointed Gary Jones general manager. He will be responsible for operations at four rail-operating companies in Michigan.
Since joining the Adrian & Blissfield in 2003, Jones has held an operations post and served as marketing director. A 35-year railroading veteran, he previously served in various public affairs, corporate communications and marketing management positions with CN, Union Pacific Railroad, the Grand Trunk & Western Railroad and Detroit Toledo & Ironton Railroad.
The Adrian & Blissfield is the parent company of Adrian and Blissfield Railroad, which provides freight service in Lenawee County and operates The Old Dinner Train in Blissfield; Charlotte Southern Railroad Co., which provides freight service in Eaton County and operates The Old Dinner Train in Charlotte; Detroit Connecting Railroad Co., which provides freight service in Eastern Wayne County; and Lapeer Industrial Railroad Co., which provides freight service in Lapeer County.
