The Port Authority of Allegheny County recently received the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its fiscal-year 2004 budget.
The award marks the 10th time in 15 years the organization has recognized the authority for its financial management.
"Our budget is a very complex document and the frequent honors given Port Authority's Finance Division for its work on the budget demonstrate a high level of professionalism," said Port Authority Chief Executive Officer Paul Skoutelas in a prepared statement. "We are fortunate to have this high level of expertise at the authority, especially in these challenging financial times."

Allegheny County port authority receives recognition for FY2004 budget
