Amtrak Cascades sets annual ridership record

In 2005, Amtrak’s Cascades service registered record ridership at 636,892 passengers — a 5.6 percent increase compared with 2004.

The 466-mile corridor runs between Vancouver, British Columbia, and Eugene, Ore. Amtrak provides cascades service in partnership with the states of Washington and Oregon.
