Beginning today, Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor passengers will have access to the Internet at six stations.

Amtrak and AT&T wireless installed high-speed wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) service at some of the national passenger railroad’s busiest stations — Boston Route 128, New York’s Penn Station, Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station, Baltimore Penn Station, and stations in Providence, R.I., and Wilmington, Del.

Anyone working from a Wi-Fi enabled laptop or handheld personal computer can access the system.
