Australian Railroad Group appoints Mohan as CEO

Australian Railroad Group (ARG) recently named Mike Mohan chief executive officer.
Mohan, who plans to assume his new duties in mid-March, spent most of his 34-year railroad career with Southern Pacific Transportation Co., last serving as president, CEO and board member.
He most recently served as a consultant to TFM S.A. de C.V.
The second-largest private rail operator in Australia, ARG is owned by Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (GWI) and Wesfarmers Ltd.
"[Mohan] is a skilled executive and leader, respected for his operating achievements as well as his commitment to customer service and rail safety," said Mortimer Fuller III, ARG chairman, and GWI chairman and CEO, in a prepared statement.
