BNSF, CSXI team up to provide expedited trailer service

Yesterday, BNSF Railway Co. and CSX Intermodal launched a transcontinental expedited trailer service between Los Angeles and Atlanta and Orlando, Fla.
The service will offer customers improved transit times between California and the Southeastern markets, according to the Class Is. The trailer moves are supported by multiple line and facility expansions completed by BNSF and CSXI last year.
