Inbound Logistics magazine recently named BNSF Logistics L.L.C. one of the top logistics providers for the seventh consecutive year. As part of its annual “Top 10 3PL Excellence” awards, the magazine polled readers, and more than 6,000 votes were cast for more than 800 third-party logistics providers.
In addition, Inbound Logistics selected BNSF Logistics for this year’s list of the Top 100 3PLs from more than 300 companies that submitted questionnaires. The logistics company has a “successful track record in acting as a business change agent” for customers and has shown “consistent results in helping customers navigate stormy economic times,” according to the magazine.
During the past year, supply-chain volatility was “seemingly at an all time high, with weak demand, lean inventory and capacity challenges on a domestic and international basis,” said BNSF Logistics Vice President and General manager Eric Wolfe in a prepared statement.
“This volatility has required team BNSF Logistics to refocus on our core strengths of operations flexibility and creativity to ensure value generation for our customers,” he said.
