BNSF boots up redesigned website

Today, BNSF Railway Co. plans to unveil its redesigned website at www.bnsf.com.
The Class I spent the past several months developing the new design, which lays a foundation for continued site improvements, according to BNSF. The railroad reviewed and updated content, photos and graphics, and added new features, such as a virtual train tour. BNSF also updated the site's “Communities” section, which provides information on the Class I’s efforts to be an environmental steward.
Many of the improvements are aimed at making it easier for customers to do business with BNSF, according to the railroad. But the Class I also redesigned and developed separate pages for employees and retirees, which will include postings from its Railway magazine and BNSF News online updates.
