American Honda Motor Co. Inc. recently presented Burlington Northern Santa Fe a Premier Partner Award, which was established in 1998 to recognize suppliers and service providers that meet or exceed quality, value and customer-service expectations.
The only transportation provider selected for the honor, BNSF — which has won the award six straight years — is one of 15 recipients chosen from 74 nominations, according to a prepared statement.
BNSF provides American Honda innovative transportation solutions to ensure vehicle delivery, American Honda officials said.
"Like Honda, BNSF is committed to quality and continuous improvement, and has worked to develop tailored services to meet Honda's needs," said Marc Allen, BNSF assistant vice president, automotive marketing.
