Burlington Northern Santa Fe recently received FedEx Supply Chain Services' Carrier of the Year award for the second-straight year.
BNSF is one of eight companies and the only railroad to earn the award, which recognizes on-time service, safety, claims/damages, communication and freight-bill accuracy.
Earlier this year, the Class I received annual service awards from shippers American Honda Motor Co., Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Stora Enso North America.
