BNSF Railway Co. recently reopened a rail-served building materials transload facility in Eola, Ill., that's managed by Partners Warehouse L.L.C.

Operating as Partners Dimensional Services, the 24/7 facility features upgraded track and lighting to better handle dimensional materials, such as lumber, steel and other building products. The facility also features more than 12.5 acres of covered and open storage, and offers trucking services via Partners Transportation Services.

"This is the only yard of its type close to the growing housing market in the western Chicago suburbs and with immediate access to major North/South and East/West highways," said Vann Cunningham, BNSF assistant vice president of economic development, in a prepared statement.
