Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen members July 31 elected W. Dan Pickett to his third term as international president, choosing the incumbent over challenger Mike Owens by a two-to-one margin, according to a union statement released Aug. 7.

"I am thrilled to have the members reassert their trust in me to lead our organization," said Pickett.

Incumbent Walt Barrows was elected international secretary-treasurer and International Vice President-Southeast Floyd Mason was elected to his third term.

Running unopposed (and subsequently elected by acclamation) were International Vice President-Grand Lodge Jerry Boles, International Vice President-National Railroad Adjustment Board Charlie McGraw, International Vice President-Midwest Joe Mattingly, International Vice President-Northeast Dennis Boston and International Vice President-West George Jones.
