BRS members re-elect Pickett as international president

Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen members July 31 elected W. Dan Pickett to his third term as international president, choosing the incumbent over challenger Mike Owens by a two-to-one margin, according to a union statement released Aug. 7.
"I am thrilled to have the members reassert their trust in me to lead our organization," said Pickett.
Incumbent Walt Barrows was elected international secretary-treasurer and International Vice President-Southeast Floyd Mason was elected to his third term.
Running unopposed (and subsequently elected by acclamation) were International Vice President-Grand Lodge Jerry Boles, International Vice President-National Railroad Adjustment Board Charlie McGraw, International Vice President-Midwest Joe Mattingly, International Vice President-Northeast Dennis Boston and International Vice President-West George Jones.
