Yesterday, Bombardier Transportation marked one year with no lost-time accidents on New Jersey Transit’s River Line, which the company operates and maintains under contract with the transit agency.

Bombardier operates and maintains the line’s wayside, track and signals, and traffic controls. The 34-mile light-rail line includes 20 stations along the Delaware River, serving southern New Jersey between Trenton and Camden.

Bombardier also is under contract to operate and maintain systems for Southern California Regional Rail Authority’s Metrolink, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s commuter-rail system, Amtrak’s Acela high-speed train service, Toronto’s GO Transit and the Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission.
