Bombardier to build more MOVIA metro trains for Romanian agency

Romania’s Metrorex SA recently awarded a $43 million contract to Bombardier Transportation to supply six MOVIA metro trains for the Bucharest Metro system. Comprising 36 cars, the trainsets are scheduled to be delivered between late 2007 and 2008.

To date, the agency has ordered more than 260 MOVIA cars from Bombardier.
