The French National Railways (SNCF) recently ordered another 112 high-capacity trains, valued at $605 million, from Bombardier Transportation.
To be delivered beginning in October 2007, the trains will run on both diesel and electricity.
Since September 2001, SNCF has ordered 612 high-capacity trains from Bombardier.
