Germany’s Deutsche Bahn AG recently ordered another 53 double-deck coaches from Bombardier Transportation.
The $97 million order is part of an option on a 2003 contract under which Deutsche Bahn ordered 298 double-deck coaches from Bombardier. The cars will run on the agency’s Dresden suburban rail network.
