The Hungarian National Railways recently ordered 10 Talent trains from a Bombardier Transportation/Elin EBG Traction/Siemens consortium. The contract is valued at $54 million.

To be delivered beginning March 31, the four-car trains will be equipped with dual-voltage technology. Under its $40 million share of the contract, Bombardier will manufacture the commuter trains and bogies; electrical equipment will be supplied by EBG Traction.

The low-floor trains feature generous passenger space, and modern passenger information and emergency communication systems, according to Bombardier.
