C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. recently presented its 2007 Intermodal Carrier of the Year award to CSX Intermodal.
The award recognizes a carrier's quality standards and assistance with C.H. Robinson's growth strategy. CSXI improved transit times, created innovative capacity solutions and helped improve business processes that lowered each company's costs, C.H. Robinson said.
"We will continue to provide high quality service and solutions to C.H. Robinson and look forward to achieving even higher standards of excellence," said CSXI President Jim Hertwig in a prepared statement.
C.H. Robinson provides multi-modal transportation and logistics services.
