CN hands out 2009 'Safe Handling' awards

Yesterday, CN announced it will present 2009 Safe Handling Awards to 110 chemical shippers.
The awards recognize shippers that meet strict standards for the safe handling and shipment of hazardous materials. Shippers must meet established criteria, according to the total number of haz-mat shipments for all facilities.
“Our customers play an important role in ensuring the safety of our employees, communities and the environment. We’re pleased to recognize those partners who excel in this ongoing effort,” said CN Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Keith Creel in a prepared statement.
