advertisement
Yesterday, Canadian Pacific announced it sold Windsor Station and other related real estate assets in Montreal to The Cadillac Fairview Corp. Ltd. for $80 million.
As part of the transaction, CP entered into a long-term lease with Cadillac Fairview and will remain the building’s principal tenant. The deal has received all necessary regulatory approvals.
Built in 1889, Windsor Station formerly housed CP’s headquarters. The building now features offices, restaurants and a hotel complex. In 1996, the Class I relocated its headquarters to Calgary, Alberta.
