CSX Intermodal receives Landstar's 'Intermodal Carrier of the Year' award

CSX Intermodal (CSXI) has received the 2009 Intermodal Carrier of the Year award from Landstar System Inc.

The award recognizes CSXI’s on-time service, equipment availability and condition, ease of doing business, sales support and customer service responsiveness, as well as the number of shipments handled and associated claims ratio.

CSXI was chosen from among the independent agents who handle intermodal shipments for Landstar.
