CSX Corp. July 17 promoted three executives, naming Executive Vice President-Law and Public Affairs Mark Aron vice chairman, Senior Vice President-Corporate Services Andrew Fogarty, executive vice president-corporate services, and Group Vice President-Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Jesse Mohorovic, senior vice president-corporate communications and investor relations.
"[Mark's] counsel has been invaluable over many years and will continue to be important as we move CSX to higher levels of profitability in the months and years ahead," said John Snow, CSX chairman and chief executive officer, in a prepared statement. "I will continue to rely heavily on Andy and Jesse as we continue to streamline and consolidate CSX corporate activities."
Aron, who's served in a number of capacities since joining CSX in 1981, will continue to oversee all of the company's legal activities, communications and public affairs.
Since joining CSX in 1989, Fogarty has served in several finance, strategic planning and human resources positions. He will be responsible for corporate services, human resources, compensation and benefits.
Mohorovic, who in 1989 joined CSX subsidiary Sea-Land Service Inc., will direct the company's corporate communications and investor relations department.
