CSX Intermodal (CSXI) recently received the 2005 Intermodal Carrier of the Year from Landstar Logistics Inc.
The award recognizes an intermodal carrier’s on-time performance, equipment availability and condition, sales representation, technology support and customer responsiveness. CSXI was selected from seven intermodal transportation firms.
“The award reflects our goal to deliver a consistent service product and constantly strive for improvement,” said CSXI President Jim Hertwig in a prepared statement.
Landstar Logistics provides various transportation and logistics services.
