On May 29, CSX Transportation announced winners of its Industrial Development Partnershipping Award, which recognize individuals who've helped the railroad boost business.


CSXT honored John Pearson, executive director of Capital Choice
Partnership, a division of Lansing, Mich.'s regional chamber of commerce; and Mark Sullivan, director of Grand Rapid, Mich.'s community and economic development department.


The winners helped CSXT facilitate a business partnership with Lowe's, which opened a 40-acre, $13 million flatbed distribution center in Grand
Ledge, Mich. Opening June 2, the facility will supply 100 stores
in six states.
