CTA officials open to community's service suggestions

advertisement

In July and August, Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) officials will conduct community workshops to hear west side and near west suburb residents’ suggestions on service improvements.

The workshops are the next phase in a west side rail and bus service study already under way. Sessions will enable community members to work with CTA officials on specific proposals to increase service, and help officials evaluate and develop recommendations for future transit options.

Each session then will begin with an overview of the West Side Corridor Study. Participants then will work in groups to develop service improvement ideas. Ideas generated at the workshops will be reviewed and evaluated by CTA staff members.
