CTA to provide transit information on Google site

advertisement

Add the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) to the growing list of transit agencies that are providing trip information through the Google Transit™ Web site.

Mapping and directions for the authority’s rail and bus systems now are available in 11 languages through Google. Chicago is the largest U.S. city to partner with Google, joining other cities such as Seattle, San Francisco and Portland.

To access travel info, customers can log onto Google Transit or access a link available at CTA’s Web site (www.transitchicago.com). Users enter an origination and destination address to obtain public transit directions, and view fare information and a route map.
