Caltrain contracts Parsons Brinckerhoff to provide on-call services

The Peninsula Joint Powers Authority recently awarded a contract to Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) to provide on-call general engineering and construction management services for Caltrain, which operates commuter-rail service between San Jose and San Francisco.
The firm will be responsible for providing contract management and technical support — including multi-disciplinary planning, engineering, design, architectural and construction management services — for various Caltrain projects. Assignments could include developing grade-separation plans for the Dumbarton Rail Corridor, or managing other planning, engineering and construction projects.
